Sheetz Lease Signed at Waynesburg Crossing

Waynesburg will soon be the recipient of a brand new Sheetz, located at the entrance of Waynesburg Crossing. With convenient access to I-79 and Route 21, the new location will also cater to customers traveling through the intersection for Walmart and the upcoming WVU Medicine clinic.

Construction is already underway as the new location gets set to open in Summer 2018, and will provide a number of offerings to customers, including prepared food, beverages, groceries and fuel.

In a recent article with the Waynesburg Yellow Jacket, David Hazelet (Director of Real Estate for Sheetz), said that the projected plans for the new gas station and restaurant are no longer a secret, and that the new Sheetz will not affect the existing nearby location that has been flourishing for the past four years.”

“The current store does very, very well since the day it opened,” said Hazelet.

The Sheetz location will sit on one of Kari Resources’ more visible assets, with great visibility located on Route 21, across from the Greene County Airport and Walmart intersection. For more information on this property, or others available, be sure to contact Kari Resources to learn more.

WVU Medicine Breaks Ground for New Greene County Clinic

Kari Resources was excited to take part in the recent groundbreaking ceremony held by WVU Medicine on May 11. WVU Medicine is the latest tenant of Kari Resources, and will begin construction for their new clinic to be built on Murtha Drive in Waynesburg, PA, off of exit 14 of I-79.

According to WVU Medicine’s official press release, the $13.8 million project will include a 24,300-square-foot outpatient center that will include 21 exam rooms and five procedure/specialty rooms. It will employ 25 people. The clinic will offer care for Cardiology, Orthopedics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Radiology and Primary Care.

In addition, the location will also share space with MedExpress Urgent Care, and provide additional room for future expansion.

In the press release, WVU Medicine provided the following statement:

“We built outpatient centers like this one right off I-79 in Morgantown and Fairmont, and they have been a win-win for us and our patients. They helped us alleviate some of the congestion on our main campus in Morgantown, and they provided our patients with convenient access to our primary care and specialty providers,” Darin Rogers, vice president and chief ambulatory operations officer of WVU Medicine-WVU Hospitals, said. “Our goal is for this outpatient center in Waynesburg to provide residents of Greene County and the surrounding area with the same convenient access to our providers.”

Kari Resources looks forward to the opening of the new WVU Medicine Clinic, scheduled for Fall 2019.
